Our goal is to help shortline railroads to identify issues and stay on track with your locomotive and car maintenance operations, and rolling stock issues.  Railroad Locomotive Advisors Group provides a wide range of services to serve as a one stop shop for most all your mechanical asset management needs. 

Who Are We?

We are a group of career mechanical railroad professionals who worked together for 25-40 years in a Class I railroad operating environment.  We know each other and our skills sets.  All of us worked in shops as first line supervisors and were later general foremen, shop managers, etc.  Some of us were electricians and machinists.  Half of us have degrees in engineering.  Some of us have graduate degrees.  But most importantly, we have hundreds of years of experience working on locomotives (and cars) since 1980, and we are still at it. 

If we cannot meet your needs with first-class, quality assistance, we will be the first to tell you.  If we don’t have the expertise to help you, we might know someone who does.
